Funeral service for Kenneth Wayne Camp, Sr., 83, of Haslet, formerly of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Dennis Camp will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mike Porter, Ryan Wendling, Roger Camp, Devin Fassett, Will Roznowski, and Danny Joe Camp. Floyd Camp, Jr., will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Kenneth passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Fort Worth. He was born June 21, 1939 in Lorenzo, Texas to Joel Rodney and Margaret Ethel Pope Camp. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith. He married Loyce Ellen Avery Camp on December 26, 1959, in Weatherford. They were married for 62 years before her passing on March 6, 2022. He was self-employed in the roofing industry for over 37 years.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Wayne Camp, Jr., of Cleburne, Rickey Camp, and wife Jennifer of Haslet, and Brenda Kay Fassett of Rhome; grandchildren, Heather Carp, Brittany Porter, Katheryn Wendling, Devin Fassett, Kelia Smoot, Hannah Roznowski and Ezekiel Camp; great-grandchildren, Michael Porter, Ruthie Porter, Kayla Carp, and Bennett Carp; brothers, Roger Camp and wife, Marilyn, Cecil Camp, and James Camp; sisters, Dovie George and husband, Kenneth, Mary Harrison, Margaret McCallum and husband, Murray, and Ruthie Collins and husband, Andrew.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loyce Camp; siblings, Joe, Monroe, Timothy, Ronnie, Luther, Jimmy, Jessie, and Floyd Camp.
