Kenneth Johnson

Services for Kenneth L. Johnson, 86, of Alvarado will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Gene Gurley will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Kenneth L. Johnson passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 in Keene. He was born June 3, 1922in Mt. Pulaski, IL to Eugene and Elva Ann Hall Johnson. He married Beulah Myrl Barkley on May 1, 1943 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Mr. Johnson served in the US Army during WWII. He was a farmer and of the Methodist faith.

Kenneth Johnson is survived by his son, Kent Johnson and wife Belinda, of Alvarado; grandchildren, Jana Ottmer and husband, Robert and Todd Johnson and wife, Judy; great-grandchildren, Justin Ottmer and wife, Leslie and Jase Ottmer and wife, Amanda; great-great-grandchildren, Kiara and Jacie Ottmer; sisters, Thelma Davis and Norma Stallings and former spouse, Katherine Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beulah Johnson and brother, Gene Johnson.
