Kenneth Lunsford

Services for Kenneth Lunsford, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 205 S. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX. Rev. Joe Ardy will officiate. Committal Service will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Malone, TX. Pallbearers will be J.B. Watson, Daniel Watson, A.D. Dunaway III, Jimmy Stanley, Kevin Linegar and Mitchell Lunsford. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Jacobs, Charles Hall, Ricky Jacobs, Fred Stelzer, Bill Bakke and Robert Kandt.

Kenneth Lunsford passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 19, 1930 in Denton County, TX to Albert and Lenneh Gray Lunsford. He married Hilda Kunkel on November 3, 1950 in Hillsboro, TX.

Mr. Lunsford retired after 35 years as a lineman for the Johnson County Electric Co-Op. He was a charter member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Cleburne.

Kenneth Lunsford is survived by his wife of 56 years, Hilda of Cleburne; daughters, Teresa Dunaway and husband Dean of Kennedale, TX, Linda Damon of Hillsboro; brothers, Lester Lunsford and wife Betty of Ft. Worth and Johnny Lunsford and wife Ann of Killian; grandchildren, A.D. Dunaway III and wife Machelle of Cleburne, Amber Linegar and husband Kevin of Cleburne and Sean Fant of Hillsboro; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce and Linda Ruth and brother, Donald.
