Kenneth Miser

Service for Kenneth "Ken" Harrison Miser Sr., 71, of Burleson, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Danny Niedecken will officiate. Burial will be in the Caddo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be C.B. Miser, Dustin Miser, Chase Miser, Casey Miser McKinley, Butter George, Henry Roye, Jimmy Cremeen and Ronnie Fisher. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday.

Mr. Miser passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born August 18, 1939 in Ft. Worth to Wade H. and Myldred McGilvray Miser. He married Louise Araujo on Dec. 16, 1961 in Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Miser was retired from Halliburton with over 30 years service and owned Joshua Automtive.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Louise Miser of Burleson; mother, Myldred Miser; sons, Ken Miser Jr. and Bill Conover of Cleburne, Blake Miser and wife Jamie of Whitney, Jake Miser and wife Alice of Burleson; daughter, Ann Marie Miser and Butter George of Joshua; grandchildren, Lauren Masters and husband Matt, C.B. Miser, Dustin Miser, Chase Miser, Mikel Miser McKinley, Casey Miser McKinley, Maralinda Miser, Veda George and Alania George; four great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Orr and husband Tommy of Arlington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wade H. Miser and great granddaughter, Ella Masters.
