Services for Kimberly Ann Applegate Wood, 47, of Godley, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in the First Baptist Church of Godley. The Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brandon Wywias, Heath Applegate, Zach Applegate, Michael Coleman, Glenn Harris and David Gerhart. Burial will be in the Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday.
Kimberly Ann Wood passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 in Alvarado. She was born June 15, 1961 in Cleburne to Arthur Eugene and Judy Gayle Williams Applegate. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Kimberly Wood is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Wywias and husband Brandon of Crowley and Hanna Wood of Albany; son, Cody Wood of Lubbock; granddaughter, Jade Wywias of Crowley; father, Arthur Applegate of Godley; brother, David Applegate and wife Kathy Jean of Godley; sister, Kathy Haines and husband Paul of Cleburne; three nieces, two nephews, one great niece and four great nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Gayle Applegate; sons, Aaron Michael Darby and Kenneth Kyle Darby.
