Krista Clinkscales

Krista Lee Bond-Clinkscales was born December 27, 1987, in Dallas, Texas to James and Elizabeth Bond. Krista left this world Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Midland, Texas. She was thirty-three years old. Funeral services will be held to honor and celebrate her life, 2 P.M., Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at the Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.

Krista is survived by her parents, James Scott Bond and Elizabeth LeeAnn (Lefler) Bond; her husband James Michael Clinkscales; her sisters Bianca and Ashley Bond; and her five bonus children, Taila, Kolby, Nicholas, Lucas, and Braden Clinkscales. Along with many other relatives and a long list of loving friends she accumulated over the thirty-three years of her life.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

Krista was a cosmetologist and loved to do hair. She married James Clinkscales on November 11, 2019, in Tyler, Texas. They shared just short of three years of crazy, fantastic, wild marriage together. Krista brought love, laughs and fun memories to last a lifetime to James and anyone else who was lucky enough to know her. One of her most admired gifts was her ability to walk into a room full of people and win them over with her spunky jokes and cheesy, yet cute ice breakers. She was a true extrovert. Her heart was sometimes too big for her own good, she was always willing to act as a saving grace for anyone in need. She cared for everyone with pure intentions. And boy was Krista a talker, James said that each night they laid down to go to sleep he would fall asleep to Krista talking his ear off. And if you were curious as to what James would wake up to each morning, it was Krista, somehow still talking his ear off. James admitted that all that talking could sometimes make him a little crazy, but now he misses it more than he thought possible. Krista was a true line wife and a true line mom. Her imprint will be left in the hearts of many beloved friends and family members.

Pallbearers to assist in Krista’s service will be James Clinkscales, Tommy Hearing, David Rudder, and Justin White.
