K.W. McPherson

Service for K.W. McPherson, 85, of Blum will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Raymond Pruitt and Mr. Tim Cooke will officiate. Burial will follow in Blum Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason McPherson, Clint McPherson, Colt Carmichael, Nolan Carmichael, Levi McPherson, Steven McPherson and Devin McPherson.

Mr. McPherson passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 in Blum. He was born August 12, 1937 in Keller to Martin Wayne and Lorene Young McPherson. He married Shirley Jean Simmons on May 24, 1957 in Keller. Mr. McPherson was a dairy farmer and member of Blum Church of Christ.

Mr. McPherson is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shirley McPherson of Blum; children, Richard McPherson and wife, Terri of Blum, Craig McPherson and wife, Cathie of Blum, Sonda Carmichael and husband, Dodd of Bynum, David McPherson of Rio Vista; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Irene Ogle of Shallowater, Betty Scott of Hico, Patricia White and husband, David of Godley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. McPherson is preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny Lee McPherson; siblings, Tommy Jeff McPherson, Mona Jean Blevins, James Ray McPherson, Jerry McPherson and Billy McPherson.
