Lacy Bearden

Services for Lacy Schmitt Bearden, 64, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Larry York will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Harold Allison, Ken Allison, Tom Hillis, Clyde Dubois, Jr., Ken Kepple and Shane Giles.

Lacy Schmitt Bearden passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born August 26, 1944 in Pineville, LA to Wesley and Bessie Cox Dubois. She married Larry Bearden on January 24, 2009 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Bearden was an inventory controller for Greenbriar Rail Service for six years. She was a member of Nolan River Rd. Baptist Church.

Lacy is survived by her husband, Larry Bearden of Cleburne; three sons, Terry Schmitt and wife, Tina of Cleburne, Bobby Schmitt and wife, Beth of Cleburne and Brian Schmitt and wife, Kris of Harker Heights; one daughter, Brandi Schmitt of Joshua; one sister, Betty Allison and husband, Harold of Cleburne; one brother, John Dubois and wife, Beth of Beaverton, OR; one step-son, Jason Bearden and wife, Sheri of Clifton; one step-daughter, Jana Nors and husband, Bo of Leroy; sixteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Mike Schmitt in 2002 and Gregory Schmitt in 1969.
