Larry Ellis

Services for Larry Gilbert Ellis, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Henderson Street Baptist Church. Reverend Neale Oliver and Reverend Steve Dill will officiate. Pallbearers will be Zeb Littlefield, Lukas Baldwin, Brett Thomas, Zane Thomas, Nate Burgess, and Matt McKay with the Deacons of Henderson Street Baptist Church acting as Honorary Pallbearers.
Burial will at DFW National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, December 18, 2020 at the funeral home.

Larry Ellis passed away December 14, 2020 in Fort Worth. He was born October 30, 1944 in Cleburne to Gilbert Fletcher and Robbie Nell (Sartor) Ellis. He marred Jo Ann Barnett on November 27, 1969 in Cleburne. Larry was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church.

He attended Texas Tech for 2 years. After serving in the U.S. Army, Larry was a Junior Quality Control Engineer for Lockheed-Martin for 33 years. He also served as a fireman for the City of Cleburne for 7 years.

Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo Ann Ellis of Cleburne; daughters, Yvonne Baldwin of Rio Vista, Johnnie Littlefield and husband Brad of Millsap, Texas, and Misti Ellis of Cleburne; grandsons, Zeb Littlefield, Lukas Baldwin and wife Jordan, Brett Thomas and Zane Thomas; granddaughters, Madison Thomas and husband Matt McKay, Raelyn Littlefield, and Audra Burgess and husband Nate; step-grandson, Barett Baldwin; step-granddaughter, Randi Kay Willemin and husband Josh; siblings, Jimmy Ellis and wife Christine, Doug Ellis, Sandra Hodge and husband Guy, and Deborah Slaughter and husband Brent; great-grandchildren, Rhyder, Jackson, Raylan, Ryver, Levi and Azlee.

Preceding his death were his parents and his son-in-law, Randy Baldwin in 2019.
