Larry Gossett

A memorial service for Dr. Larry Dan Gossett, 63, of Arlington, formerly of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 2, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.

Dr. Gossett passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born February 5, 1948 in Cleburne to Howard D and Lois Gossett.

Larry Dan Gossett was a 1966 Cleburne High School graduate. He graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in 1973 and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 1986. He received a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration degree (Ph.D.) from Arizona State University in 1998. He then returned to The University of Texas at Arlington, where he has taught for the past nine years.

Survivors include his mother, Lois Gossett of Cleburne; four brothers, Bill Bridges of Burleson, Kenneth Gossett, Ronny Gossett and Lonnie Gossett, all of Cleburne; sister, Betty Davis of Cleburne; a number of nieces, nephews and special friend, Jeanette Hood. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard D. Gossett; brother, Howard Lane Gossett and nephew, Billy Harold Bridges, Jr.
