Larry Hancock

Larry W. Hancock passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Covington. He was born on February 22, 1934 in Cleburne to C.D. and Myrl (Cooper) Hancock. He married Ora Nell Brunson on June 30, 1958 in Weatherford; she preceded him in death on January 02, 2016.

Mr. Hancock was a dairy farmer for over 30 years and was of the Church of Christ faith. Larry took his last trip around the Knob. He was a good man who left an impression on the hearts of those around him. He will be dearly missed by many.

Some of those who will miss him dearly include, his two children, Clint Hancock and wife, Dianah of Austin and Lora McFarland and husband, Mitch of Covington; three grandchildren, Eric, Ty and Rachael McFarland; three great-grandchildren, M.J., Bishop and Eberley Nell McFarland; one sister, Doris Ruth Simmons of Burleson; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ora Nell Hancock; four siblings, C.D. Hancock, Billy Hancock, Herbert Hancock and Mary Turner Bryant.
