Larry Roden

Services for Larry Dean Roden, Jr. 65, of Godley, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 in the Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Payne, Rev. Ken Coleman and Mr. John Nickols will officiate. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Pastor Joe Ardy will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kirk Carrell, Andy Green, Ronnie Galbreath, Gary Dugger, Jon Thetford, Curtis Pritchard, David Hanna and David Grafa. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Dan Richardson, Bill Thetford, Felix Camarillo, Dr. Craig Deardon, Mike Frances, Bryan Brown and Ben Davis.

Larry Dean Roden, Jr. passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born April 9, 1943 in Cleburne to Bud and Imogene Thetford Roden, Sr. He married Mary Ann Dujka on September 14, 1963 in Waco.

Larry was a dairyman and was of the Lutheran faith. He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren and attending their activities.

Larry Roden is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Roden of Godley; sons, Gary Roden and wife, Audralynn of Cleburne and Ricky Roden and wife, Tara of Godley; daughter, Laura Wynia and husband, Eric of Plano; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three sisters, Barbara Nickols of Brownwood, Sharon Smith of Joshua and Linda Galbreath of Joshua.
