Larry Joe Tribble passed away February 28, 2005 in Temple. He was born November 9, 1949 in Johnson County, to Wendell and Ula Jo Tribble who preceded him in death.
Larry graduated from C.H.S. in 1969. After graduation, he followed in his father's footsteps by enlisting in the United States Marines, where he served as Corporal in the Vietnam War, stationed in DaNang. Larry was a gifted artist as well as writer/poet. His God-given talent won him widespread recognition as an accomplished artist whose unique style and impressionistic outlook set the art world on its toes. Larry was best known for his quick wit and engaging personality. Wherever life took him, he gathered many friends.
Mr. Tribble is survived by one sister, Debbie Coleman; brothers, Chris Tribble and wife Jennifer, Wendell M. Tribble, Jr.; nephews, Jonathan and Brandon Coleman, Alec, Cole and Seth Tribble; nieces, Morgan and Emma; extended family members and a host of friends, all of whom will greatly miss him.
