Laura Gillit

Service for Laura June Gannaway Gillit, 58, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. The Reverend Charles E. Payne and the Reverend Dwight Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Laura June Gannaway Gillit passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 in Ft. Worth. She was born Oct. 2, 1959 in Uvalde to Bobby D. and Levila June Woodrow Gannaway. She married Bill Gillit on Nov. 24, 1984 in San Antonio.
Laura loved to sing and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Bill Gillit of Cleburne; daughter, Rebekah Gillit and Kyle McLain of Burleson; mother, June Gannaway of Charlotte, NC; sister, Shawn Blomkvist and husband Tony of Charlotte, NC; brother, Ted Craig of Phoenix, AZ; and many aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
