Laurence Banks

Laurence “Larry” Banks, 93, of Joshua passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Joshua. He was born February 25, 1928 in Los Angeles, California to Thomas and Leora Pearl Banks. He married Mary Hileman on February 4, 1949 in Maywood, California. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Laurence was an easy going guy with a great sense of humor who cherished time with his family.

Laurence is survived by his wife Mary Banks; children, Deborah Gungl and husband Wayne, Karen Tilstra and husband Dan, Cheryl The and husband James, Kim Elise Kruithof and husband Simon, David Banks and wife Janice; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and loving friends.

Laurence is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Leora Pearl Banks.
