LaVera "Gigi" Smith passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born July 2, 1929 in Cleburne to Ewell and Mildred Sawyer Thompson. She married William H. Smith, Jr.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Lone Willow Baptist Church.
LaVera "Gigi" Smith is survived by son, Bill Smith of Cleburne; daughter, Sandy Dennis of Cleburne; brother, Royce Thompson and wife Mary of Cleburne; two sisters, Ramona Jenkins and husband Sonny of Itasca and Nadine Brown of Arlington; two grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. H. in 1971; sister, Wanda Wilborn; and great grandchild Lacie Dennis.
