LaVoyce Brown

Service for LaVoyce Hutson Brown, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Keith Whitt and Reverend Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Howell, Cody Howell, Trevor Howard, Jake Howard, Luke Howard and Bud Sparks.

Mrs. Brown passed away March 16, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born August 17, 1934 in Fredricksburg, Oklahoma to Carlton S. and Vera Mae Hadley Hutson. She married Noel Knox Brown on July 19, 1952 in Cleburne. She was a catalog manager with Sears for over 20 years and a retail clerk for Cowboy Market Place in Granbury for over 15 years. Mrs. Brown was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughters, Darla Pliler and husband, Tom of Cleburne and Sherry Howell and husband, Charles of Bono; grandchildren, David Howell, Cody Howell, Mindy Potts and husband, Brannon, Christi Howard and husband, Larry and Gaylyne Pliler; great grandchildren, Trevor, Kacie, Jake, and Luke Howard, Tucker and wife, Emily Potts, Maddie, Bailey and Hudson Potts and Laymon Pliler; brothers, Jerry Hutson and wife, Margaret of Cleburne and Donald Hutson and wife, Toni of Florida; sister, Othella Osborne of Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband in 2010.
