Memorial service for Lawreen "Lee" Plumlee, 68, a homemaker of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 28, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Mrs. Plumlee passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born September 20, 1942 in Littleton, CO to Lawrence and Vera Farrow Adams. She married William Plumlee on Nov. 28, 1964 at Lowry AFB, CO.
Mrs. Plumlee was an inspirational mother, dedicated and involved in every way possible from PTA, room mother to Blue Bird Leader and throughout her daughter's life. She was outgoing and had a talent for making friends. She was known as a good communicator. Lee's ability to put a smile on everyone's face was one of her greatest attributes. Her loving nature and giving spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, William Plumlee of Cleburne; daughter, Laurie Hooper and husband Jon of Bedford; grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan and one sister, Betty Umland. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, George Adams and mother-in-law, Lorene Plumlee.
