L.C. Henslee, 86, of Cleburne, went into Jesus arms peacefully with Joel & Paige at his side on Thursday October 31, 2024. LC was born in Merkel, TX on February 26, 1938 to L.J. and Jeanette Henslee. L.C. married the love of his life Evelyn Lousie Neff on October 24, 1958 soon after her 18th birthday. They were married for 36 years. He and Evelyn raised two fabulous sons Phillip and Joel. L.C. enjoyed spending time with family and many friends. L.C. enjoyed fishing, water skiing, and camping every chance he would get. He also enjoyed traveling, mostly in Colorado around the Silverton area exploring with a large group of friends they considered family on motorcycles and dune buggies. He also enjoyed spending time with his Grandkids Austin and Destini and his Great Grandbabies receiving kisses on the cheek and giving out peanut M&Ms as a treat.
L.C. was a hard worker and a jack of all trades. There was not much he could not do. From wood working to refurbishing family furniture air looms. He worked for Rangaire, Farming Peanuts on family land, and Travel Villa before opening his own RV repair and service business. He then retired in 1995 to enjoy living on lake Granbury until 2006 when he moved back to Cleburne.
L.C. is survived by his son and daughter in love, Joel and Paige, grandson and granddaughter in love, Austin and Destini, Great Grandbabies, Sapphire, Emerald and Onyx, Brother James, Sister Velma “Suzie” Bowles, son in love Paul Simon and brother-in-law Gale Neff.
