Learoy Stearnes

Services for Learoy Stearnes, 60, of Joshua, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. James Miller will officiate. Burial will in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Robinson, Michael Mitchell, Billy Frank Phillips, Sue Ellon Miller, Mathew Barton and Les Acker.

Learoy Stearnes passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born January 25, 1948 in Rotan, TX to Buster and Billie Ruth Plumley Stearnes.

Mr. Stearnes worked in oilfield industry and was of the Christian faith.

Learoy Stearnes is survived by his sister, Mary Robinson and husband Jerry of Joshua; nieces Ruth Ann Miller (Billie Phillips) of Joshua; nephew, James Wayne Robinson and wife, Kerri of Joshua; great-nieces, Patricia Miller, Brandy Miller, Jessica Miller and Sue Ellon Miller; and eight great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Billie Stearnes.
