Lee Jordan

Thetis “Sis” Lee Nuckols Jordan went to be with the Lord and reunited with the love of her life Charles Jordan on December 27, 2020 in Grandview Texas at the age of 81. She was born December 4, 1939 to Leola (Franklin) and Erskine Nuckols in Glen Rose Texas.

Thetis married Charles Jordan January 14, 1954. She worked beside her husband on a dairy farm for many years until their retirement when they moved to town. Her favorite things were cooking and flowers. She was a wonderful cook and grew some of the most beautiful flowers

Survivors include daughter Terri Duke and husband Billy, son Jack Jordan, his wife Gina, daughter Deborah Jordan, son Charles Jordan Jr, and his wife Shawn, sister Pat “Bittie” Castro and husband Al, sister in law Nelda Winsett and husband Monty. Six grandsons that are listed below, two granddaughters Melinda Fleece and Jacklyn Jordan, six great grandkids and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include her grandsons – Jason Jordan, Ron Duke, Raymond Duke, Mark Hunt, Warren Duke and Ethan Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Nuckols, John Nuckols and Edward Nuckols
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Charles, daughter Joyce, brothers Steve and Kenneth Nuckols.

Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Bono Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6:00 P.M., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
