Graveside service for Lee Roy Tyler, 75, of Katy, formerly longtime Cleburne resident, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Ft. Worth. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 in Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Mr. Tyler passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 in Katy. He was born Feb. 4, 1938 in Hamilton to Elmo G. and Lucy Lee Boling Tyler. He married Leona Pearl Hale in July of 1967 in Brenham.
Mr. Tyler served his country in the National Guard. He worked as a truck driver for the Texas Highway Department, retiring with 35 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Leona Pearl Tyler of Katy; son Kenneth A. Hoak and wife Sherry of Ft. Worth; daughter, Barbara Stewart and husband Scott of Katy; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Tyler. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Tyler.
