LeJean Horton

Services for LaJean Horton, 74, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dan Burt and Dr. Joe Stephens will officate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Rodney Tribble, Ricky Tribble, Doug Galvin, Mike Graves, Steve Lackey and Roy Marchman.
Mrs. Horton passed away Monday, July 3, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born January 8, 1932 in Cleburne to Morris Weir and Hettie Jane Bean Tribble. She married Earl Horton on March 4, 1950.
Mrs. Horton was a homemaker and a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. She was Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls.
LaJean Horton is survived by sons James Horton, Jr. and wife Tamra of Cleburne, Johnny Frank Horton of Cleburne; daughters Ramela Carper Chick and husband Marc of Cleburne, Nancy Horton of Cleburne; 3 grandchildren Jason Lackey and wife Heather of Cleburne, Matt Horton and wife Kristi of Burleson, Jeremy Horton of Cleburne; 2 great grandchildren Lauren Underwood of Cleburne and Mason Lackey of Cleburne; brother Weir Tribble and wife Stella of Arlington.
She was surrounded by her children when "the Lord called her home to be with our Daddy."
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-7:30 pm Wednesday.
