Lena Williams

Service for Lena Mae Williams, 96, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 4, 2013 in the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church. The Reverend Mike Mizell and Reverend Ben LaFon will officiate. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born Oct. 11, 1916 in Dallas to William Charles and Beatrice Brown Nelson. She married J.D. Williams on July 25, 1956 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her sons, Martin R. Matthews of Fairfield, Calif.; Johnny Williams and wife Mia of Burleson and Sidney R. Williams of Alvarado; daughters, Martha Jones and husband John of Austin and Barbara Williams Sartor of Cleburne; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.D. Williams on Oct. 17, 1997; and eight brothers and sisters.
