Leon Vedder

Graveside services for Leon Vedder, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Dr. Don Shipman will officiate.
Leon Vedder passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born July 11, 1924 in Rio Vista, TX to John Delton and Ethel Mae Potts Vedder. He married Ella Mae Hart on December 8, 1951 in Cleburne.
Mr. Vedder was a custodian for the CISD and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Leon Vedder is survived by his daughter, Ella Jean Casarez and husband, Joe of Cleburne; grandchildren, Monica Solis and Jesse Casarez both of Cleburne; two great-grandchildren, Ofelia Solis and Ismael Solis both of Cleburne; three sisters, Mary Helen Moore of Ft. Worth, Virginia Johnson of Ft. Worth and Lois Gazaway and husband, Jerry of Benbrook and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Vedder on December 4, 2000; four brothers, Nelson, Bill, Jockey and Dub; and one sister, Ann Pipes.
