Services for Leonard L. Sullivan, 72 of Blum will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, JAn. 2, 2008 in the Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate.Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the deacons of Calvary Baptist Church. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Sullivan, Jr., Colton Sullivan, George Whipp, Robby Honea and Ricky Dowdy.
Mr. Sullivan passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born Oct. 25, 1935 in Cleburne to Thomas Eves and Annie Mae Cain Sullivan. He was a retired self employed plumber. Mr. Sullivan was a Sunday school teacher at the Cleburne Health Care for 25 years, a deacon at Calvary Baptist church for over 35 years and taught the Jr. Boys Sunday school class at Calvary Baptist and love to fish.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife, Nancy Sullivan of Blum; daughter, Debbie Whipp and husband George of Cleburne; sons, Leonard Randall Sullivan of Cleburne, Rodney Dwayne Sullivan of Blum, David Scott Sullivan of Rio Vista; brother, J.T. Sullivan and wife Patsy of Cleburne; sister, Frances Giddings and husband Gary of Milsap, grandsons, David Sullivan, Jr. and Colton Sullivan and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy and Sammy Sullivan and one grandson, Specialist Jeremy Sullivan.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home.
