Graveside service for Leonard Walls, 94, of Godley will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.
Leonard Walls passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Godley. He was born November 17, 1920 in Johnson County to Walter and Bertha Paul Walls. He married Mildred Ann Hopper on June 22, 1946 in Johnson County and she preceded him in death in January of 1981.
Mr. Walls was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a farmer and dairyman. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky Rawdon and husband Ronald of Godley; grandchildren, Cathy Hawkins and husband Bryan and Julie VanDeSpyker and husband Jamie; great grandchildren, Laurel and John Hawkins; and brother-in-law, Bill Hopper. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
