Leroy Cogdill

A memorial service for Leroy Cogdill, 87, of Cleburne, will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 08, 2018, at the American Legion Post 50, 313 W. Chambers St. Cleburne TX.

Leroy Cogdill passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Fort Worth. He was born on November 15, 1930 in Granbury to Henry Burton and Laura Elsie (Carter) Cogdill.
He was the owner and operator of Leroy’s Tree Service until his retirement and was of the Baptist faith.

Leroy is survived by his partner and love, Pat Goyne; children, Cynthia Riza and husband Eric, Roy Cogdill, Cheryl Cogdill, Billy Cogdill and Jeremy Cogdill all of Cleburne; son-in-law, Dean Davis of Cleburne; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby and Clifford Cogdill and one sister, Jimmie Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Merlene Cogdill on April 16, 2004; daughter, Linda Smith; one brother, Doyal and four sisters, Hazel, Willabee, June and Helen Faye.
