Leslie Payne

Memorial service for Leslie “Les” Payne, 57, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by Brother Lee Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Farmer, Greg Newbury, Randy Schroer, and Gary Gawf.

Leslie “Les” Payne passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 in Cleburne. He was born Aug. 12, 1960 in Ft. Worth to Richard Leo and Eva Mae Pippin Payne. He worked as a union sprinkler fitter with over 25 years of service. Les was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth Norris and husband Mike of Cleburne; two nieces, Megan Myers and Laura Norris, both of Cleburne; one nephew, David Norris of Cleburne; numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; and special friend, Lindsey Hodges of Grapevine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
