Services for Lewis "Snooks" Moore, 83, of Glen Rose, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. David Marchbank and Bro. Bill Schibler will officiate. Burial will be in Baker-Lain Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Services by the Glen Rose Masonic Lodge. Pallbearers will be Jim Woodard, Floyd Peterson, Burnis Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Giles Adams and Joe Lain. Honorary Pallbearers will his Grandsons, Kent Curlee, Ronny Curlee, Cody Curlee, Craig Furtick and his Nephews.

Mr. Moore passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 in Glen Rose. He was born in Johnson County, Texas to Charles Lewis and Mary Ann Peterson Moore. He married Bonnie Glass October 31, 1952 in Cleburne, Texas. Mr. Moore was a retired drywall installer. He was past president of Goatneck Community Association, former honorary mayor of Goatneck community, a member of Glen Rose Masonic Lodge #525, a 32 nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Shriner, Past Master of Glen Rose Blue Lodge.He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Lewis "Snooks" Moore is survived by his wife of fifty five years, Bonnie Moore, of Glen Rose; daughter, Debbie Curlee and husband, David, of Cleburne; sisters, Jewell Threadgill, of Keene and Mary Oleta Calahan, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Kent Curlee and wife, Beth, Lori Furtick, Ronny Curlee and Cody Curlee and wife, Ellen; great-grandchildren, Heather, Dakota, Lacey, Austin, Ty, Mikayla and Cole and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Gene Moore, his parents and brothers, Leonard Moore and Thomas Moore.
