Linda Barnard

Memorial visitation for Linda Louise Barnard, 66, lifetime resident of Cleburne, will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Linda passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Fort Worth. She was born to Edward and Nadine Hansford Crisp on November 16, 1946 in Cleburne. She married Wayne A. Barnard, Jr. on November 16, 1962 in Mansfield. Linda took great pride in being a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, especially during family gatherings and holidays. Her family was her greatest love. She was of Christian faith. Linda was known for her witty and independent streak as well as her sweet disposition. She was a true giver, always willing to help others. She spent countless hours watching her favorite soaps. She was a dog lover, especially of her favorite dogs, Mack and Pepper. Linda’s loving nature and giving spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donnie Barnard; and brothers, David Crisp and James Douglas Crisp.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Wayne Barnard; sons, Michael Barnard and Jason Barnard and his wife, Phyllis; grandsons, Scott, Dakota and Hunter Barnard; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
