Mrs. Crecelius passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Keene, Texas. She was born to Logan “Bo” and Aline Hughes Bynum on August 11, 1944 in Clifton, Texas. Linda married Darrell Wayne Crecelius on July 2, 1964 in Blum, Texas. She worked for Jack in the Box for a number of years and retired as an assistant manager. Linda was a longtime member of the Granbury Street Church of Christ. She was known for having a strong will; so much so that you never wondered where you might stand with her. She was devoted to her family. This devotion led Linda to begin searching for ancestors in her genealogical adventures throughout the state and even as far as in Mississippi. Sarah’s arrival forever changed Linda’s life. Being her “Nana” was Linda’s greatest joy and she showed that sentiment in all she did from that moment on. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Virginia Rich, Jeffie Adams, and L.A. Bynum.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Darrell Crecelius; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Marlo Crecelius; granddaughter, Sarah Rose Crecelius; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jeremy Tipping Memorial Scholarship Fund at Pinnacle Bank in Cleburne or Rio Vista.
