Service for Linda D. Smith, 65, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 19, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sergio Ortiz, Nathan Ortiz, Justin Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, Bryan Ortiz and Colson Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Cogdill and Michael Cogdill. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.

Linda D. Smith passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Cleburne. She was born December 1, 1952 in Cleburne to Leroy and Merlene Westerman Cogdill.

Linda was a homemaker who was passionate about playing bingo every Wednesday and Saturday nights for many years with her Aunt Alita. She enjoyed drinking Dr. Pepper, eating candy, and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Itsy. Linda was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Harold Dean Davis of Cleburne; daughter, Michelle Ortiz and husband Pancho; and son, Jason Smith, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Amy Ortiz, Tommy Ortiz, Sergio Ortiz, Nathan Ortiz, Justin Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, Bryan Ortiz, Ashlyn Smith and Merallie Smith; four great grandchildren, Tre Thomas, Kylan Thomas, Mileena Ortiz and Azariah Ortiz; father, Leroy Cogdill and wife Pat; brothers, Billy Cogdill, Roy Cogdill and Jeremy Cogdill; sisters, Cynthia Riza and Cheryl Cogdill; and aunt, Alita Lively and husband Garland. She was preceded in death by her mother, Merlene Ellis; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Mabel Westerman and paternal grandparents, Henry and Elsie Cogdill.
