Service for Linda J. Howard, 70, of Grandview will be conducted at 12 Noon, Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Kody Hughes and Pastor Steve McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mark Wagner, Kyle Ware, Randy Trimble, Tyler King, Michael King and Jesse Herrera. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristin Carter and Larry Ware. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Linda J. Howard passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016 in Ft. Worth. She was born Aug. 4, 1946 in Cleburne to Jesse and Ruby Lackey Ware. She married Ronnie Howard on Oct. 10, 1982 in Grandview.
Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and along with her husband, owned and operated Lynco Heating and Air Conditioning. She was a member of The Heights Church in Cleburne.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Ron Howard of Grandview; daughter, Starlyn Riha of Kopperl; grandchildren, Tiffany Riha and Chris Light of Cleburne, Jason Riha of Corpus Christi and Zackary Lozier of Kopperl; four stepchildren, Robert Oliveros of Cleburne, Lisa Dittert and husband Malcolm of Cat Spring, Summer Howard of Palestine and Russell Howard of Meridian; nine step grandchildren; sister, Debby Schmitt of Grandview; sister-in-law, Donna Miller of Grandview; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, which include Audra Missey and husband Scott of Rio Vista and Allen Ware and wife Tina of Grandview. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie Ware and Larry Ware; and a stepson, Edmund Howard.
