Linda A. Drew LaFountain passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Fort Worth. She was born to Howard Homer Drew, Sr. and Laura Arline Bailey Drew on May 31, 1952 in Rochester, New York. Linda married Steven Harold LaFountain on November 21, 1970 in East Rochester, New York. She was of the Baptist faith. Linda worked at Tree of Life for over 8 years. Linda was known for her “easy-going” nature and strong will to keep her family together and connected to one another. To just say she was family oriented, does not do her love of family justice. She was truly the foundation and glue that held her family together. Linda was a fun-loving lady who spent countless hours camping, cruising and traveling. She was a lover of music, especially of classic country and the golden oldies. Shutter bug’s love of family and accepting spirit will be missed greatly by all she leaves behind.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Layton; and siblings, Ellen Waterman and Richard Drew.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Scott & Amy LaFountain, Annette LaFountain, Brad & Carrie LaFountain, and Greg & Lanna LaFountain; grandchildren and their spouses: Kristopher & Madison, Brandon & Brittany, Calvin & Harley, Dalton & Ashton, Chandler & Madysen, Caitlin, Dylan, Anthony, Steven & Bobbi, Ashley-Mae, Summer & C.J., Colton & Alexa, Hailey, Cooper & Cindy, Maggie, and Lain; 21 great grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Regina & Monty Johnson and Howard Drew, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
