Linda Skiles

Graveside service for Linda Skiles, 82 of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009 in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Chaplain Nancy Schneider will officiate.
Mrs. Skiles passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born Aug. 18, 1927 in Ridgely, TN. to Richard and Iva Mae Broadway Stewart. She married John H. Skiles on May 7, 1946. He preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1995. Mrs. Skiles managed the Bootery and then the Shoe Box in Cleburne before her retirement. She and John loved camping and fishing after his retirement.
Mrs. Skiles is survived by two sons, Charles Skiles and Johnny Skiles both of Cleburne; daughter, Betty Jewett of Cleburne; sister, Ophelia Imes of Torrance, CA.; brother, R.E. Stewart of Albuquerque, NM; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
