Linda Teske

Entombment services for Linda Teske, 76, of Keene, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 22, 2024, in Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum with Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M., prior to service in the mausoleum. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Buddy Gibson, Robert Curlee, Johnathan Curlee, Jacob Curlee, David Woodard, and Steve McCool.

Linda passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Cleburne. She was born March 19, 1948 in Cleburne to Loyd Upton and Bennie Murel (Webb) Wright. Linda married Phillip E. Teske on June 29, 1989 in Cleburne. They were married for 26 years before his passing in 2015. She was of the Christian faith. Linda worked in retail for Walgreens. She loved to cook and bake for others. Linda enjoyed entertainment through music, magazines, reading and television. Known for her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist others was a defining trait. She had a special affection for collecting stuffed animals and loved them as much as her loved ones. Linda's deep love for her siblings and family was ever-present and cherished throughout her life. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors include her siblings, Waymon Wright and his wife, Belinda, and Deborah Woodard; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Smith, Penny Gibson, Cynthia Curlee, and David Woodard; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kari, Reagan, Kason, Johnathan, and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd & Bennie Wright; husband, Phillip Teske; sister, Darla Wright; brother, Howard Wright; and beloved dog, Rudy.
