Linda Williams

Service for Linda Williams, 82, of Godley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 2, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. Reverend Donnie Williams will officiate. Visitation will be 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the funeral home.

Linda passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born October 26, 1940 in Fort Worth. Linda married Cecil Williams on August 3, 1997 in Burleson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Linda was a gifted singer and musician. Her love of music is a gift she passed down to her children and grandchildren. Linda was a kind and gentle soul who lived her faith.

Linda is survived by her husband Cecil Williams; sister, Diane Dobbs and husband, Jerry; children, Rick Brinkley, Deborah Huffman, Teresa Brinkley, Russell Brinkley and wife, Janet; grandchildren, John Huffman and wife, Lanette, Kristen Harmonson, Sarah Glass and husband, Brandon, Rachel House, Tiffany Bond and husband, David, Truett House and wife, Taylor, Taylor Brinkley, Dylan Brinkley, Danielle Brinkley; step-granddaughter, Avyn Cummings; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Dodd, Brett Huffman, Eryn Huffman, Mason Glass, Bailey Glass, Michael Bohon, Tori Blanton, Ryan Vandever, Keith House, Landon Bond, Everlee Bond; great-great-grandchildren, Leo Huffman and Micah Bohon.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, J.R. “son” and Geraldine Loraine (Thompson) Taylor; brother, John W. Taylor and James Perry Taylor.
