Lois Chastain

Services for Lois Chastain, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2006 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Tony Torres will officiate. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Spring Creek Cemetery in Avoca, Tx.

Lois Chastain passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born May 8, 1923 in Stamford, TX to Carson and Mary Ferguson Huff. She married Fred Chastain on May 18, 1997 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Chastain was a homemaker, a volunteer at Disaster Depot in Keene and a member of Cleburne Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Lois Chastain is survived by her husband, Fred Chastain of Cleburne; son, Joe Bruce and wife Terrie of Cleburne; daughter, Linda Bruce Haddock of Clyde,TX; granddaughters, Deanne Shaw, Sherri Ray and Vicki Thompson; step-children, Sue Morgan of Joshua and Terry Glen Chastain and wife Daisy of Cleburne; brothers, Orville Huff of Clear Lake, CA and Harley Clay Huff and wife Glenna of Tulsa, OK; great grandsons, Jim Shaw and Timothy Thompson; great granddaughters, Heather Shaw, Amanda Shaw and Caty Shaw. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cleveland Huff, Aubrey Huff, Marvin Grady Huff and Wayne Eugene Huff.
