Lois Cook

Services for Mrs. Lois Virginia Cook, 74, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 23, 2010 in the First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Dr. Danny Crosby will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cook, a homemaker, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 in Fort Worth. She was born November 10, 1935 in Des Arc, Arkansas to Hubert and Dovie Mae Clark Rutledge. She married Dalton M. Cook on August 22, 1969 in Dallas. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleburne.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Susie Wiggin and husband Ronnie of Cleburne; three sisters, Gladys Siganski, Betty Love and Gennie Neal; seven brothers, Hubert, Jr., Roger, Tommy, Gary, Steve, Donnie and Terry Rutledge; five grandchildren, Laura Huggins, Perry Sharp, Joshua and Matthew Thompson and Keisha Morgan and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalton in 1997; son, Tex Lee Thompson; one sister, Linda Rutledge and one brother, Ricky Rutledge.
