Lois Like

CLEBURNE, Funeral services for Lois Marie Like, 84, are 1 pm, Friday, June 10, 2005 at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Acton Cemetery. There will be a visitation 6-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Lois Like died Tuesday at Kindred Southwest in Fort Worth.

Lois Like was born in Godley on June 15, 1920 to Sam Jones and Ollie B. McElroy. She was preceded in death by her husband Hardie Holt Like, two sons Jessie Ray and Edward Franklin, two brothers Odell and Vernon Jones and two sisters Pauline Spencer and Clara Mae Jones. She was retired from Timex in Abilene. She was a member of Park Temple Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

Survivors include daughter Barbara Fleming and husband Harold of Huffman; son Vernon Like and wife Mary of Cleburne; sister Adelean Milstead and husband Gene of Cleburne; 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
