Service for Lois Jean Hackler Milstead Tyrone, 79, of Joshua will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 9, 2012 in the First Baptist Church, White Settlement. The Reverend Billy Charles Hackler, brother of the deceased will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:30 P.M. in Grange Hall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 A.M. to Noon, prior to the service.
Mrs. Tyrone passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born October 4, 1932 in Canton to Troy Herman and Ruthie Drucilla Harris Hackler. She married Robert Ivy Tyrone in 1975 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was a homemaker who loved sewing, cooking, fishing and camping. Lois was a very friendly, caring and outgoing lady. She was a member of First Baptist Church in White Settlement.
Survivors include her son, Troy Eugene Milstead and wife Verla; daughter, Jeana Jones and husband Joe; step children, Steven Tyrone and wife Shay, Austilene Miller and husband Jimmy and Samuel Tyrone and wife Brenda; siblings, Betty Wallis and Rev. Billy Charles Hackler and wife Tommie Ann; six grandchildren, Troy Milstead, Kristen Milstead, Kara Towns, Jill Arron, Jennifer Knight and Laura Hester; several great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, including Floyd Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Ivy Tyrone on July 16, 2011 and a brother, Troy Thurman Hackler.
