Lola Green

Graveside service for Lola Baxter Morton Green, 78, of Euless, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the Covington Cemetery. The Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Green passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Bedford. She was born June 24, 1933 in Newport, Texas to James Berry and Serena Myrtle Crumbley Baxter.

Mrs. Green was a retired assembler with General Motors Corp. and was a member of the Eastern Star Wedgewood Chapter No. 756. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Michael Morton of Dublin; daughter, Linda Morton of Euless; six grandchildren, Kennette Ammerman and husband Rollin, Kami Wells and husband Michael, Michelle Morton-Hayes, Meagan Morton, Ashleigh Morton and Logan Morton; great grandchildren, Garrett, Hayden, Lauren and Lily Wells, Dalton Morton, Emily Packwood and Trenton Morton-Mathis and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tommy M. Green in January of 1990.
