Lona Darnell

Services for Ruth Darnell, 93, of Yucca Valley , CA. will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 in the Keene SDA Church Chapel. Pastor Mark Thurber and Pastor Phil Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow in Keene Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Ruth Darnell passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 in Yucca Valley, CA. She was born May 19, 1916 in Asheville, NC to George and Lona Baker Bates.

Mrs. Darnell was a sales clerk and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Ruth Darnell is survived by a son, Wayne Darnell and wife, Linda of Yucca Valley, CA; nieces, Anita Woodling and husband, Richard of Burleson and Juanita Reiter of Ft. Worth and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Darnell in Dec. of 1998.
