Louise Watson

Services for Louise Watson, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Monday.
Louise was born Aug. 8, 1923 in Bono to Homer William and Ruby Lois Jones McLaughlin. She graduated from Cleburne High School. Louise married John O. Watson on Oct. 18, 1947 in Cleburne. She worked for Dr. Monte Swatzell at the Cleburne Veterinary Hospital for 41 years and was a member of the Field Street Baprist Church in Cleburne.
Louise is survived by two brothers, Carl McLaughlin of Godley and Cecil McLaughlin of Burleson; one sister, Lucille Shelton of Arlington and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.O. Watson; son, Michael Watson; parents Homer and Lois McLaughlin and three brothers, J.W., Billy and Fred McLaughlin.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Alvarado Nursing Home and the American Hospice for her care.
Friends who desire are respectfully invited to honor Louise's memory with contributions in her name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
