Loyd Wright

Service for Loyd U. Wright, 90, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Danny Rogers and the Reverend Ron Lyles will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Woodard, Ronnie Comer, Kevin Curlee, Robert Curlee, Kenny Curlee, Steve McCool and Delphus Runnels. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday.

Mr. Wright passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born March 13, 1921 in Klondike, TX to Little Upton and Bertha Helen Moore Wright.

Mr. Wright served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a retired automotive parts salesperson. He also worked for Mann Ag. Co. for 15 years and Counts Feeds.

Survivors include his sons, Howard Wright and wife Sharon of Burleson and Waymon Wright and wife Belinda of Cleburne; daughters, Linda Teske and husband Phillip and Debbie Woodard and husband Charles, all of Cleburne; three sisters, Opal Davis, Margaret Reid and Melrose Mooney; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Billie Hudgins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Wright in 1996; one daughter, Darla Wright in 2008; one brother, Robert Wright and one sister, Jewell Gregory.
