Memorial services for Lucile E. Lucas will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Junius Heights Baptist Church, Dallas. Graveside services will follow at 3pm at Watts Chapel Cemetery, Cleburne. You may leave condolences and view obituary online at www.cpcleburne.com .



Mrs. Lucas joined her husband, J.B. in Heaven on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Dallas. She was born to the late, T.A. and Florence Smith Swarts on November 7, 1934 in Wichita Falls. Lucile married J.B. Lucas on December 25, 1954 in Denton. She was a member of Junius Heights Baptist Church and Junius Heights Homeowners' Association. Lucile was active in her community and enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening. Lucile was proud of her family history and often passed family stories to others in the family. Her strong beliefs, conservative nature, and patriotic spirit will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved her. Lucile was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.B. Lucas on February 11, 1998; and one brother, Albert Swarts.



Survivors include her children and their spouses, Teri and Mark Howell, Joel B. Lucas, Stephen and Dorothy Lucas, and Leslie and Jason Moore; five grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Lucas, Ryan, Amanda, and Austin Moore; brother, Bill Swarts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
