Lucy Gibson

Services for Lou Gibson, 92, of Arlington, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Don Watson and Mr. Billy Ray Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Watson, Dan Watson, Chris Williams, Chris Jennings, Cody Jennings and Billy Ray Evans. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.
Lou Gibson passed away Monday, July 27, 2009, in Arlington. She was born December 8, 1916 in Moline to Joseph Nathaniel and Willie Alma Clark Evans. She married Harry B. Gibson on August 30, 1941, in Comanche County.
Mrs. Gibson formerly lived in Cleburne for many years and retired as a sales clerk from Walls Industries. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cleburne and a former member of the Ruth Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Lou Gibson is survived by her daughters, Glenda Court and husband, Mike of Arlington and Diane Watson and husband, Don of Weatherford; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry B. Gibson on April 30, 1970 and three brothers.
