Lucy Poarch

Services for Lucy L. Poarch, 89, of Keene, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 06, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Jack Hunnicutt will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

She passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 in Keene. Lucy Poarch was born August 11, 1919 in Sand Flat to Ernest Lee and Lucy Howell Harris.

Lucy Lee Poarch was a bookkeeper for the U.S. Government for 32 years and formerly worked at the General Depot in Ft. Worth for many years. She was of the Methodist faith.

Lucy Poarch is survived by her son, Ronald Poarch and wife, Karen of Cleburne; grandchildren, Kerry Joyce and husband, Matt, Ben Poarch, Catherine Manning and husband, Chris and Will Poarch; great-great grandchildren, Sara Seaver, Sam Seaver, Sophie Joyce, Sawyer Joyce and Emma Manning. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
