Services for Lula Mae Russell Kane, 78, of Burleson, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 in the Greenacres Memorial Park. The Rev. Earl Whitehead will officiate. Pallbearers will be Darren Vidler, Doug Vidler, Steven Vidler, James Kane, Lil' Bill and Jr.
Lula Mae Russell Kane passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 22, 1930 in Ft. Spunky, TX to James Monroe and Hallie Alma Masters Russell. She was a homemaker.
Lula Kane is survived by her son, James Paul Kane of Burleson; daughter, Christine Alma Vidler and husband Darren of Cleburne; brother, Charles Russell and wife, Mary of Cleburne; sister, Ruby McClure of Joshua; three grandchildren, Doug, Steven and Andrew Vidler and one great-grandchild, Lynlee Vidler. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Allen and Jimmie D. Russell and one son, John Joseph Kane III in 1972.
